About & team

We build training that fits the
people who have to use it.

SRPC Training™ is an IACET Accredited Provider based in Charlotte, North Carolina.
We design and deliver custom, role-specific professional learning for
school systems, public agencies, courts, and nonprofits.

Who we are

It started in schools. It applies well beyond them.

SRPC Training began in schools, helping adults respond to student behavior in a consistent and fair way. That work taught us something that applies well beyond education: training only changes practice when it is built around the specific roles, rules, and realities of the people who receive it. Today we bring the same approach to any organization that needs staff to carry out a procedure correctly and consistently.

Proof and accreditation

Accredited, documented, and open in scope.

Strategic

Every engagement starts with a Training Needs Analysis, so the work answers a defined need.

Restorative

We treat fairness, voice, and repair as practical tools for how adults work with each other and with the people they serve.

Proactive

We build procedures and skills before the incident, the audit, or the deadline.

Collaborative

The people who do the work help write the procedure they will follow.

Founder

Roy Burton

Founder and President

Roy has spent more than 20 years helping groups of people work through hard moments together. His experience covers courtrooms, corporations, and classrooms. He mediated civil court cases in litigation, worked inside corporate settings, and led restorative practices work for school districts in Detroit and Charlotte. He has seen what unresolved conflict costs an organization, and he has witnessed what changes when a team has a clear, shared way to handle it.

He is at his best in a room with a team, whether that team is school staff, an agency unit, or a company’s frontline workforce. He gets people talking honestly, finds where they agree, and turns that into a plan they wrote themselves. He founded SRPC Training and built the Four-Zone Restorative Flow™ on that idea. People follow procedures they helped create.

Roy holds a bachelor’s degree in human resources management and a master’s degree in management and leadership. He is a certified Trainer of Trainers, Civil Court Mediator, and Special Education Mediator.
